Mount Tabor Boot Camp :: Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not in shape. Can I still join?
Class is designed to accommodate ALL levels of fitness, and is executed safely and soundly. You will be pushed to your own limit, and progress each day at a slightly higher intensity. Everyone will be challenged appropriately.

What types of exercises will we be doing?
Each workout will vary from week to week, progressively incorporating running short distances, strength and toning, agility training with obstacle courses, core training, and more!

When do we meet?
Classes meet twice a week on Monday evenings at 6:15pm and Thursday mornings at 7:30am.
All classes run approximately 45 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down.

Where do we meet?
At a convenient location at the base of Mount Tabor, revealed once you are fully registered.

What if it rains?
Class is on rain or shine. In the case of extreme and dangerous weather such as a thunderstorm or blizzard, class will be postponed to the day after the last scheduled day in your schedule. Updates will be posted on the website, and participants will be notified accordingly in these rare cases.

When does the next class begin?
Class kicks off on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 7:30am for people registered for Thursday morning classes and the twice a week program. Class starts on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 6:15pm for people registered for Monday evenings only.

What do I need to bring?
Participants will be responsible for purchasing:
• An exercise or yoga mat
• A set of two dumbbells, 5 or 8 lbs
• Exercise Band
• Water bottle
• Sneakers and comfortable moisture-wicking workout clothes

A full detailed list will be given to you one week before class starts. For participants who would like to fine tune their group class experience by setting some personal goals, a private Initial Evaluation with Natalie is available at an additional cost of $60.

What happens at the Initial Evaluation?
One week prior to kickoff, you can meet privately with Natalie to go over health history and determine what you hope to accomplish at camp. Girth measurements will be taken, you will be weighed, perform a movement screen, and go over nutritional guidelines.

What will I do at the end of camp?
At the end of four weeks you can meet again with Natalie for final measurements to track your progress. After that we have found that most people come back for another round or two of camp to maintain and improve their progression.

How much does it cost?
Private sessions with an elite trainer like Natalie can run as high as $100 per hour. In this economy, training with a group is not only fun, it just makes more sense. And that is why we are offering our 4 week class at only $80 for twice a week, and $45 for the once a week option. For 4 weeks of training 2 days a week that comes out to only $10 per session.

Is there a refund policy?
If for some reason you are not able to attend camp, we will offer you credit towards a future boot camp. Packages are non-transferable and there is no cash refund. Additionally, if you miss class for any reason, we cannot refund your money. Participants are expected to attend all classes for which they have registered in order to see the kinds of results suggested.
